Vegetarian side dish to be served with roti/chapathi also rice. Can be a substitute for egg bhurji.. :)
Ingredients:
- Paneer/Cottage cheese- 1 cup, grated or crushed
- Onion-1 large,cut into small squares
- Tomato- 1 large,cut into small squares
- Capsicum-2,cut into small squares
- Green chillies- 2,slit
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- Chilly powder-2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Garam masala- 1 teaspoon
- Pepper powder-1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt- 1-2 teaspoon, as required
- Water- 1/2 cup
- Oil- 1 tablespoon
- Heat oil in a pan and crackle cumin seeds.
- Add onion and saute till they become soft.
- Add capsicum, green chillies and saute for another 2-3 mins.
- Add tomatoes and saute for a while
- Add ingredients 7-12 and saute.
- Add the grated paneer along with water and mix well.
- Cover and cook in high flame for 3-5 mins.
- Remove from fire when the gravy is thick and ready to be served
